Before you get your goat:

Goats are herd animals and need companionship in order to keep them happy and out of trouble. They need at least one other goat companion but do well with more. Also don't underestimate their abilility to escape fences! Though small they are excellent jumpers and climbers and sometimes will need an electric fence to be kept in. Many people like cattle panels for fencing. Wraped wire with a hot wire on top has worked for use to keep them in and safe.
